I've just spent two idyllic days in the sunshine with my beautiful best friend and adorable baby niece, after today I have my two days off from work and quite frankly I am entirely blissed out. Aside from the fact I've managed to misplace my bank card and in no way am able to treat myself, I've been indulging in a little internet browsing regardless. Due to it being a long while since I last completed this particular post I felt that a lot would have changed with my usual make-up routine by now, I for one find it to be a rather interesting concept as to just how much has altered in that time.






Clearly everything has changed since last year, I'm rather surprised by this as I didn't realise just how much my everyday make-up had differed. I used to rarely change my make-up, using certain products for consecutive years without branching out to try anything new. It’s that time of the month again where I collect together all possessions of mine of which have elicited my particular interest and excitement. Of course, this would have been posted at the very end of last month, if you haven’t already then you are able to read about the reason for this delay on my previous post ‘What’s up? What’s the 411?’


Collection Eyes Uncovered - Nude Grey Palette
This product has phenomenal pigmentation! Of course this results in a large amount of expected fall out but that doesn't overly inconvenience me, I mean, we have hacks or face wipes - right? The colours included are all perfectly wearable for both daytime and at night whilst being of a superb quality. Eyes Uncovered is literally used by me just as much as my Urban Decay Smoky palette, if not more as this is currently my definite ‘go to’ eye product. As with easily 90% of items, I don’t use the sponge applicator of which is included although everything else about this product I absolutely adore!

Max Factor Face Finity 3 in 1 - Beige 55
I'm utterly obsessed with this, although that’s the ultimate understatement. I've even stopped using my MAC Studio Fix Foundation due to the discovery of this exquisite creation, which is thrilling for me considering the alarming difference in price. Minimal product is required when using this in order to achieve high coverage and an extremely flawless end result. I don’t wish to give too much away here as I have a much more in depth review of this planned to follow shortly, however in the mean time I can’t recommend this product enough!

Bourjois Liner Feutre - 11 Noir
Previous to this I had yet to use a felt liner therefore I have nothing else to compare this to. I have however found this product to be especially helpful for creating both the lower part of my wing and my upper lash line due to the exemplary precision provided by this pen. It has to be said that a careful hand is still to be used though and the mindfulness to not make mistakes, as the staying power of this product is crazy! This Bourjois liner has immense durability and longevity, lasting overnight and even into the next day!


That’s it for this past month, there hasn't been many items on my list although the products which have pleased me have proven to be entirely outstanding. I’ll be keeping it short and sweet this time as there isn’t a whole lot being added to my list although I simply had to share these new favourites with you, it would be a crime not to as I’m feeling rather animated about some of these.

Hey hey my lovely! So I engaged in a charming catch up date with my niece a few weeks ago. It were absolutely delightful and we had a really great time. Of course what catch up between Aunt and niece is complete without a spot of shopping?



Amber lives out of Leeds due to going to University, therefore because of this and both of our very hectic schedules it’s often really awkward finding a suitable time to meet up. Finally we managed to though, as it’s been ridiculously long overdue and I can safely say it were a really lovely and very much enjoyed day for the both of us. We had many laughs together and started out with a bit of shopping. Amber were on the hunt for a specific outfit to wear for a night out that weekend and I were simply browsing, more accompanying her if anything, obviously that didn’t stop me indulging a little myself! We browsed through a range of shops, either buying bits and bobs here and there or simply browsing and pointing out things that the other one would like. Of course we had a LOT of catching up and chatting to do and amongst our perusing we stopped by a lovely little Gelato shop located in the Leeds Trinity. The shop is called Joe Delucci’s and I have to tell you that it were absolutely magical! I felt like a child picking out different flavours of ice cream, adding toppings and making the choice of cone or dish, it felt so exciting. I love how things that aren’t often experienced tend to feel that way because of the novelty. The tasty treat were gorgeous and I definitely made a meal out of it, savouring every last bit, although I’m incredulous with shock at the fact I managed to not decorate myself in it. I shan’t complain about that however!

Amber took me to some shops of which I have failed to notice before, being the rather unobservant person of which I am, Paperchase were among these. Paperchase is a delightful stationary shop with literally so much choice within the items it’s unreal. There’s cards, folders, notebooks, diaries, pens and pencils, alongside of course a huge array of other stationary odds and ends. I got rather excited by the collection of novelty rubbers as I used to have a tin filled with cool rubbers when I were a child. I should still have it somewhere, unless I forgot to bring them with me when I moved house five years ago. I hope I didn’t leave them behind, they were so unique! We also popped into the Thornton’s shop where my niece redeemed a Turkish Delight freebie from 02 which she then gifted to me, this were very much appreciated. I love Turkish Delight and oh my gosh, Thornton’s - yummy! It’s safe to say that it went down incredibly well with my evening brew! At the end of our blissful day together we then parted ways at the train station, where she were to be back on her way to her term time home at university. I had a thoroughly enjoyable day with my angel and I will now also find joy in sharing my purchases with you. I’m especially excited about a few of these!
